In Chinese medicine, the gallbladder is referred to as “the official who makes
decisions”. Gallbladder weakness can manifest itself as difficulty making decisions.
It is a key in facilitating digestion, storing and excreting bile, and protecting the
nervous system from an overreaction. It also helps normalize our emotions.

When food arrives in the stomach, the gallbladder secretes bile to facilitate its breakdown in order for the micronutrients to absorbed and fortify the blood. The malfunction of the gallbladder can result in a number of symptoms such as:

*Upper right quadrant abdominal pain that is worse after eating and sometimes referred pain in the right shoulder

*Dizziness

*Blurred Vision

*Nervousness

*Lack of initiative

The gallbladder can become sluggish and congested and many of the reasons why can directly linked to diet and lifestyle. Consuming hard to process animal products, greasy or spicy foods, and irregular meals will stress the gallbladder.

The Gall Bladder gives us the capacity to turn this drive and vitality
into positive and decisive action.
